Context

/sbin The /sbin directory holds different kind of system binaries (programs) an administrator/ privileged user can use, in CLI or in the GUI environment

Example of some of the system binaries can be

• chpasswd

• mkfs

• openvpn

System binaries can often only be executed by privileged users, normal users wouldn't have permission to succesfully execute any of the binaries
